A key technology of MAI®
Flexible systems made simple
The unique MAI®NET technology enables the seamless integration of different products from the MAI®NET range using standardized cables that provide both power and communication connections.
MAI®NET connection
Each MAI®NET mixing pump (MAI®HICOMP, MAI®MULTICOMP, MAI®MULTIMIX, MAI®440GE, MAI®440GT) is equipped with up to five MAI®NET connection sockets. One MAI®NET slave device can be connected to each socket.
These devices are:
- MAI®FOG foam generator
- MAI®DOS dosing pump
- MAI®MIX Electric remixer for foam concrete
- MAI®LOG data logger
- MAI®3DCP PRINTHEAD print head system
- MAI®WHD water heater
This makes it very easy to build flexible systems for different applications, from the simple addition of a dosing pump or a data recorder to complex systems for foam concrete production or 3D concrete printing. The slave devices can be fully controlled and monitored from the mixing pump's touch screen.
MAI®NET recipes
Various combinations of settings for MAI®NET devices ("recipes") can be saved on the MAI®NET mixing pumps and easily selected by the operator. This is a very useful function, especially for more complex systems, such as foamed concrete production systems. The function can also be used to limit the range in which the operator can make certain settings (e.g. water flow). Recipe sets can also be created in Excel spreadsheets so that they can be easily transferred to a large number of machines.
