The higher the requirements for the mortar to be produced, the more frequently various additives such as accelerators or plasticizers are required. For example, superplasticizers, retarders and accelerators are widely used in 3D printing or in the production of foam concrete. The MAI®DOS dosing pump is the ideal solution for adding various liquid construction chemicals to the mixing water or mixed mortar.
The MAI®DOS dosing pump is a portable peristaltic pump with a robust, hot-dip galvanized steel frame and stainless steel components. Various sizes of peristaltic pumps are available and offer a very wide performance range at a maximum pressure of up to 12 bar thanks to their frequency-controlled drive.

Technical advantages
The MAI®DOS can be used as a stand-alone device for dosing liquid construction chemicals, whereby the dosing quantity can be infinitely adjusted via a potentiometer. However, the great strength of the dosing pump lies in the MAI®NET control.
In this case, the dosing pump is controlled fully automatically by a MAI®MULTIMIX, MAI®440GE, MAI®MULTICOMP or MAI®HICOMP mortar mixing pump. The dosing quantities are specified via settings on the mortar mixing pump, whereby the dosing pump can be operated simultaneously with the mixer or the pump.
