One of the challenges of 3D concrete printing is ensuring a constant quality of the printing material. Fluctuations in the water temperature can affect the properties of the material.
The WHD is a compact heating station that makes it possible to increase the water temperature to a desired value and keep it within narrow limits in a controlled manner.
The main operating parameters of the WHD can also be set via the OPC UA interface (MAI®iCONNECT) of the MAI®MULTIMIX-3D.

Technical advantages
The MAI®WHD is installed next to the mortar mixing pump and ensures a constant water temperature during the mixing process. A water circulation pump in the robust UV-resistant 115 l polyethylene tank guarantees even and efficient heating of the water, with intelligent control of the heating elements.
The heat output (up to 6 kW) is adjusted according to the water consumption, and the fill level is automatically regulated by sensors and valves. Equipped with forklift lugs, the heating station can be easily moved.
