Foamed concrete often requires an additional high-speed mixer, especially if liquid admixtures such as accelerators are added to the product or additional mixing is required. The admixture can be injected directly into the mixing chamber. This allows foamed concretes with very low densities and other products with setting accelerators to be processed reliably.

With a variable mixer speed of 750-1,100 rpm, this high-speed mixer ensures exceptional mixing and homogenization, even at high throughput rates. Stainless steel components ensure high corrosion resistance.

Technical advantages

As part of a fully automatic foamed concrete production system, the MAI®MIX can be connected to the MAI®HICOMP-FC and MAI®MULTIMIX-FC via a MAI®NET cable for power supply and control. It has an injection nozzle through which liquid additives such as accelerators can be added to the material in the mixing chamber. If a MAI®DOS dosing pump is also connected to the mortar mixing pump, all components can be coordinated by the control software of this machine.

The high-speed mixer also has a cleaning function that automatically cleans the injection nozzle when the system is stopped, thus ensuring trouble-free operation when using solidification accelerators. It can also be used as a stand-alone device, with the mixer speed being infinitely adjustable via a potentiometer.
